Do you accept Medicare Advantage plans?
Yes. Both Goodday Dental Care offices accept Medicare Advantage plans. Dental benefits vary by plan, so our front desk verifies your coverage and explains it before any treatment begins.
Does Original Medicare cover dental care?
Generally no. Original Medicare (Parts A and B) does not cover routine dental care such as cleanings, fillings, or dentures. Many Medicare Advantage plans do include dental benefits, and we accept Medicare Advantage at both offices.
Which dental insurance plans do you accept?
Both offices accept most PPO dental plans and Medicare Advantage plans. Our Orange office also accepts Medi-Cal and Cal-Optima. Call either office with your plan name and we will confirm before your visit.
Can you check my insurance coverage before treatment?
Yes. Our front desk verifies your benefits in advance and explains your coverage in plain language before any treatment begins, so you know what to expect.
Do you offer financing for larger treatments?
Yes. Both offices offer financing through CareCredit and Cherry for major procedures such as implants, crowns, and cosmetic treatment.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and financing through CareCredit and Cherry.
Do you see patients without dental insurance?
Yes. Patients without insurance are welcome, and we keep treatment costs affordable. We explain costs up front before treatment, and CareCredit and Cherry financing are available for larger procedures.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Both the Orange and Anaheim offices are accepting new patients of all ages.
How do I book an appointment?

Do you treat children and seniors?
Yes. We care for the whole family, from kids to adults to seniors. Senior care includes dentures, partials, dry-mouth treatment, and gentle gum care.
What happens at a regular checkup?
A checkup includes a comprehensive exam, plaque and tartar removal, polishing, an oral cancer screening, and a personalized hygiene plan.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID and your dental insurance card.
How long does a first visit take?
A first visit with an exam, X-rays, and cleaning usually takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Implants, Crowns & Dentures
Are dental implants available at both offices?
Yes. Implant consultations, CBCT imaging, placement, and final crowns are available at both the Orange and Anaheim offices.
Who places the implants?
Dr. Elies Kim plans and places implants herself. She earned her DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry and a master's degree from UC San Diego, and serves as junior faculty for implant seminars with Biotem and the Cando implant course.
Do you offer an alternative to dentures?
Yes. For patients missing most or all of their teeth, we offer implant-supported full-arch options, which stay firmly in place compared with conventional dentures.
Do you make dentures and partials?
Yes. We make full dentures and partials as part of our senior and restorative care at both offices.
Do you offer tooth-colored crowns and bridges?
Yes. We place tooth-colored crowns and bridges to restore strength and a natural appearance after damage, decay, or a missing tooth.

Cosmetic Dentistry & Whitening
What cosmetic treatments do you offer?
We offer professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, composite bonding, and full smile makeovers, planned around an exam of your teeth and gums.
Does insurance cover teeth whitening?
Usually not, because whitening is cosmetic. Your exam and cleaning are often covered by PPO and Medicare Advantage plans, and we explain whitening costs up front. CareCredit and Cherry financing are available.

Dental Emergencies
Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?
Yes. Both offices offer same-day emergency appointments. Call Orange at (657) 282-0078 or Anaheim at (714) 229-8553 as early in the day as you can.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe toothache, a broken or cracked tooth, a knocked-out tooth, and injuries to the mouth or jaw are all dental emergencies. If you are unsure, call us and we will help you decide.
What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?
Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing, keep it moist in milk or inside your cheek, and call us right away. A tooth has the best chance of being saved if it is treated within an hour.
What if I have a dental emergency after hours?
Send a text to (714) 588-2084, and we will respond as soon as possible. For severe swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or trouble breathing, go to the nearest emergency room.

Where are your offices?
We have two offices in Orange County: 1518 E Lincoln Ave in Orange, and 2795 W Lincoln Ave Ste D in Anaheim. Both offer the same services with the same team led by Dr. Elies Kim.
Do you have Korean- and Spanish-speaking staff?
Yes. Dr. Elies Kim is fluent in English and Korean, and Spanish-speaking team members are available at both offices.
Is parking available?
Yes. The Orange office on E Lincoln Ave has free parking, and the Anaheim office on W Lincoln Ave has on-site parking.
Are your offices wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Both offices are wheelchair accessible.
